TRAPPEUR CHALET
Year of construction : 2018Location : St-Adèle (Qc), Canada
Situated in the heart of the forest in Ste-Adèle, this cabin is composed of three volumes is hidden in nature.
This project, located in the heart of the Laurentians, is laid out in three simple and uncluttered volumes, one on top of the other. In contrast to the dark exterior, the interior is bathed in natural light. Controlled fenestration on the facades allows the volume to open up towards the forest while maintaining privacy. The large floor-to-ceiling windows create a direct link between the long terrace and the open-plan ground floor. The entire project has been thought out in detail to allow for self-construction.
